Artist's Statement

In my life I am constantly aware of my surroundings and always looking for the one selection of nature that is so interesting I feel that I want to capture it in a painting. When finding these images my goal is to create a completely natural composition that when painted on canvas, creates a sense of movement with natural shapes and lines. Creativity in composition and richness in color alludes to harmony in the paintings, which brings about my contemporary style.
